Stuart Morris
Managing Partner, CEO
Fourth generation Oil & Gas principle responsible for overseeing PHR’s overall activities as well as leading the development of its strategic vision.
- Began with Dallas-Morris Drilling – a fully integrated E&P and services company operating in PA, NY, WV, and OH
- Board Member with Pennsylvania Grade Crude Coalition – the trade group representing PA’s conventional oil & gas industry
- Member of AAPL with a B.S. in Business & Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2009)
Paul Morris
Managing Partner, Chief Operating Officer
Responsible for Exploration, Development operations aligned with the strategic and organizational goals for PHR.
- Previously Managing Partner of Blackhawk Energy, overseeing all company activities through the sale to Pennhills Resources and prior to Blackhawk Energy, served as Operations Manager for Dallas-Morris Drilling – managing all conventional and unconventional operations across PA, NY, WV, and OH.
- Board Member with Pennsylvania Grade Crude Coalition – the trade group representing PA’s conventional oil & gas industry
- Geology from Alleghany College (2007)
Edward Gens
Senior VP of Engineering
- A Pennsylvania native and Petroleum Engineer with over 30 years of worldwide industry experience.
- Proven contributor with experience within various engineering disciplines (production, completions, drilling, reservoir/exploitation) as well as corporate staff functions (planning, budgeting, capital allocation/performance, A&D, gas marketing).
- Successfully transitioned from technical performer to management professional by leading a multi-disciplined organization through restructuring and process changes to improve corporate performance.
- Prior to joining Pennhills, Ed held multiple managerial positions at Pennsylvania General Energy, lastly as VP of Business Development.
- His career started with Kerr-McGee Corporation in Louisiana, serving in numerous engineering roles, before joining Occidental Petroleum Corporation in engineering and corporate roles.
- Ed is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and was accepted into the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (SPEE). He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a BS & MS in Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering.
Bob Cayton
Senior VP of Engineering
- Bob Cayton has more than 35 years of experience in gas and oil exploration and production operations.
- He started his career with Alamco in 1984 as a well tender and worked his way up to Superintendent in 1998.
- Cayton has broad experience of the gas and oil industry from running swab-rigs, well tending, disposal well operations, drilling and overseeing production in several states on the East coast.
- Prior to the joining Pennhills, Bob was Senior VP of Operations at Diversified Energy where he oversaw the production operations and processing of over 50,400 wells across the United States, including the production and operations of over 400 Marcellus wells.
